Item Description
Rarely available mercury crystals from Alaska! Lustrous, blood-red crystals to 2 mm are scattered in the vug lined with sparkly oxide-tinted quartz crystals. This rare thumbnail is from the aptly named Red Devil Mercury Mine, Alaskas largest mercury producer, worked intermittently from 1933 to 1981. Ex Howard Belsky Collection.
