Item Description
Gorgeous, glorious cherry-red translucence, when this 2.3 cm doubly terminated cinnabar crystal is backlit! The sharp lustrous crystal is metallic wine-red under normal light and is beautifully set atop the miniature matrix plate covered with contrasting lustrous dolomite rhombs. The right tip of the termination is gently bruised, but is certainly only a modest detraction to this adorable and classic combination from the well-known Tongren Mine. Choice material from the Taylor Hunt Collection.
