Item Description

The El Entredicho Mine is a now closed mercury deposit, which produced some fantastic, albeit small Cinnabar specimens. The crystals are amazingly bright, well-crystallized and eye-catching for the species. These are a dream for micro collectors, as they are just beautiful under magnification. This specimen hosts several excellent quality, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, electric blood red color, twinned crystals of Cinnabar on tan Dolomite matrix. The Cinnabar groups are small (less than 1 mm), but if you have a good microscope, you will have a great time viewing them. Fortunately, I was able to photograph the Cinnabars under my own microscope to illustrate their quality. A beautiful Cinnabar specimen from this well known locality in Spain.
