A 1.6 cm, gemmy and lustrous, gorgeous cherry-red, contact twin cinnabar crystal is aestheticaly set in lustrous, bone-white dolomite rhombs with a few quartz points on this showy and excellent specimen from Tongren, China, the premier locality for fine cinnabar crystals. The crystal has this beautiful, "ruby-silver" look, just like proustite or pyragyrite crystals! This is a fine example of the combination species and locale.
