Item Description

A few sharp, lustrous, fine red, gemmy crystals of Cinnabar with a very attractive habit, nicely sitting on Dolomite on matrix. The largest crystal measures 7 mm. Very pretty piece with good color, and they aren't as common as they once were. A classic specimen of this well-known material. This deposit accounts for 50% of all the mercury deposits in China!
