Churchite-(Y) is a rare REE yttrium phosphate and is isostructural with Gypusm. It is RARE from the well-known zinc deposit of the Skorpion Mine in Namibia. Spherules of snow-white Churchite needles, to 4 mm, richly and attractively cover the sculptural thumbnail matrix plate. An exceptional and rare example of the species and locale from the Shields Flynn Collection.
