Scintillating specimen of a preserved pocket that is filled with botryoidal Chrysocolla and highlighted by the well known and highly desirable rich robin egg blue color; and then finished off with a secondary coating of transparent clear drusy Quartz. This incredible combination is eye-catching from across the room! The crystalline Quartz has a super glassy luster and intense sparkle due its slightly larger faces versus normal microcrystalline druse. The faces reflect light from every direction. The Chrysocolla blankets the entire display face with interconnected bubbly spheres that measure up to 1.4 cm. There is some minor periphery edge wear, but it is considered acceptable. This Drusy Quartz on Chrysocolla is a stunning example of the excellent quality that this Peruvian location has produced.
