Item Description

Striking, matte-finish, powder-blue, chrysocolla botryoids are pleasingly covered with a scattering of sparkling rosettes of gemmy primary malachite blades on this showy and excellent combination specimen from the famous Morenci Mine. The bit of rhyolite matrix around the fringes is a fine accent to this bright piece. The specimen and find was of importance, as even the mine level is known. Ex Wes Parker Collection.
