Item Description
Chrysocolla is very uncommon from this more obscure copper mine in the famous Katanga Copper Crescent. The lustrous, bubby, turquoise-blue and turquoise-green botryoids on this 3-dimensional, sculptural specimen look like colorful molten plastic. The very lightweight gossan crust has an unusual sintered-look. Rare older material from the Robert Whitmore Collection.
