Here we have a fantastic old-time specimen of the famous Quartz / Chrysocolla pieces from the Ray Mine. These specimens are the finest representations of this combination of these particular species in the mineral world in the minds of many collectors, dealers and experts. This piece features classic "finger"-shaped stalactites of baby blue Chrysocolla which have, in turn, been covered with a druse of Quartz on the surface, but the underside/back of the piece reveals a much more saturated and vivid blue color, showing how gorgeous the material can be. The contrast of colors and formations on the piece make these classic specimens highly desired among collectors, not only by those specializing in Arizona or copper minerals but collectors in general due to their uniqueness and "displayability" from this classic old locality.
