Chrysocolla ps. Malachite ps. Azurite w/ Wulfenite (Dr. B. Phillips Coll.)

Item Description

A classic and sculptural double pseudomorph with wulfenite from the famous and extinct copper mine. Two parallel-growth doubly terminated tabular azurite crystals were replaced by malachite and then by blue-green chrysocolla. The pseudos are the center point of the three attached brecciated goethite fragments. Gemmy golden-yellow bipyramidal wulfenite crystals on one side are a super and classic accessory to this very fine and aesthetic combination pseudomorph. Ex Dr. Barratt Phillips Collection.
