Item Description
A showy and classic combination specimen from this well-known Australian copper mine. This piece is a double pseudomorph. Colorful chrysocolla has replaced partially bladed malachite that, in turn, is pseudomorphing an azurite crystal, all sitting on goethite matrix. One side of this nifty two-sided thumbnail has famous for the locale, two tiny "gem" wulfenite crystals. These replacements were always more uncommon, and came out over 20 years ago (maybe others can give me better info, but I believe it was in the early 1980s). This is an aesthetic two-sided thumb with wulfenite (uncommon in this combination quality). Its both aesthetic and in good shape as well. valued $250
