Item Description

Bright, turquoise-blue pseudomorphs of chrysocolla after sharp gypsum blades fill a sculptural vug in gossan matrix on this RARE and excellent pseudo from the famous Ray Mine. Gypsum or selenite is very uncommon, in itself, from this noted Arizona locale. Probably old material, but no proof. Ex Harold Urish Collection # 494, a well-known 40-year Tucson collector. Possibly a unique Ray Mine pseudo.
