Item Description
A dramatic, aesthetic and classic pseudomorph from the famous Ray Mine of Arizona. A striking, upright, bowtie-like, cluster of sharp, blue-green pseudos of chrysocolla after azurite crystals is adroitly set on gossan matrix. The pseudo crystals reach 3.2 cm. If lookign closely, you can see where there are broken crystals on the left, center and of the left side of the termination. BUT, this remains a stunning and highly representative pseudo from this very well-known locale. They are very rare in this size of crystal, on any matrix. Most long since fell off or broke off. It comes with a 1970s era Roberts Minerals label, who even knew the level of the mine the specimen came from! Valued $1500 low to $2000 high..one RARELY sees a fullzied miniature in this condition and quality for aesthetics. I personally feel $1500 is more than a realistic valuation, but a cheap one.
