Item Description

A cool secondary copper association specimen attributed to the Hualapai (Hualpai) Mountains in Arizona, although mindat.org does not report either species occurring from this area. Beautiful blue-green Chrysocolla "balls" sit atop bronze-brown colored Tenorite. A wonderful piece to view with magnification. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#750). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
