Item Description

A very colorful, rare and excellent combination specimen from this less well-known large open pit copper mine. The very sculptural, knobby botryoids are covered with pretty powder-blue chrysocolla. The sides reveal, that the botryoids are comprised of scintillating, tiny, gemmy to translucent, rich emerald-green malachite botryoids. A scattered bit of bruising/contacting is noted, but certainly has minimal impact to this very uncommon and fine combination. Both species are rare from this mine. A choice, aesthetic and rare miniature from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Herb valued this piece at $375, more than five years ago.
