Chrysocolla on Malachite

A classic from the famous Star of the Congo Mine with a full coverage of intense turquoise blue colored flowing Chrysocolla which have coated beautiful forest green groups of Malachite on matrix. Upon close inspection, if you look around the edges, you can see hues of blue and green in the exposed "balls" where several depositions have obviously taken place. Excellent condition for the size, and no real damage that I can find with the naked eye. It's an impressive and noteworthy colorful display specimen from this famous locality. This piece would make a great addition to a large cabinet collection, a suite of copper minerals, or a nice piece for a collection of minerals from the Congo.
