This piece features attractive botryoidal groups of beautiful blue colored "Cornuite" sitting atop a translucent silvery colored layer of Hemimorphite on matrix. An eye-catching and fairly hard to find specimen from the classic 79 Mine, and certainly worth picking up if you collect secondary ore minerals or minerals of Arizona. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#399). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
