Beautiful rich turquoise-blue chrysocolla is richly infused in sparkly spherical aggregates and stalactites of drusy quartz, that richly line the sculptural vug on this striking piece. Chrysocolla and quartz are relatively uncommon from this well-known mine that is more famous for atacamite and gypsum specimens. An exceptional, rare and colorful combination of the species that is/was classic for this small artisanally worked mine.
