Item Description

Chrysocolla is typically opaque or translucent, and rarely does one see gem quality stones of this material. This stone has a vibrant blue green color in the center, which is surrounded by a contrasting brown host rock matrix. The stone has a "Triangle Cabochon" cut. The vibrant color in Chrysocolla is often caused by Copper, and that is more than likely the case with this stone. This would be a superb rare gem to add to any collection, amd would end up being a wonderful bargain for one collector as it was valued at $223.92 when we bought it. Hard to photograph, and very pretty in person, better than the photo.
