Chrysocolla (Eilat Stone)

Item Description

A cool and hard to find piece of the illustrious Chrysocolla which are found at the historic copper producing region near Eilat. These pieces have been given the name "Eilat Stone" and although this material is mostly Chrysocolla, you can also find traces of Azurite, Malachite and even Turquoise. It should be noted that Eilat Stone is the National stone of Israel, and sometimes goes by the name of King Solomon Stone. This particular specimen came to us from a good friend who personally obtained it from the source.
