Item Description
This is a wonderful blue-green Chrysocolla specimen replacing Azurite from the famous Ray Mine in Arizona. The display side of this specimen is eye-catching showing excellent crystal form. It should be noted that these specimens are labeled as Chrysocolla after Azurite, but I can't find any information that confirms this information. They could be replacing Gypsum, which is also monoclinic in habit like Azurite. You don't see a lot of these pieces on the market, and they are certainly worth picking up if you collect pseudomorphs, secondary ore specimens or minerals from Arizona. The piece comes from the collection of Ross Hubbard with an accompanying label from H. C. Coburn.
