Item Description

Chrysocolla is typically opaque or translucent, and rarely does one see gem quality stones of this material, let alone FACETED stones! This "oval brilliant" cut stone has a soft misty blue color, similar to Smithsonite from the Kelly Mine in New Mexico. The vibrant color in Chrysocolla is caused by copper content. I have seen only a handful of Chrysocolla stones from Mexico with this size and color. This would be a great rare gem to add to any collection.
