Item Description
Yes, this is a NATURAL specimen of chrysocolla! This was a find not too long back at the copper-rich Etoile Mine in Congo, of chrysocolla that is so strange and pretty you can hardly believe it is real. The botryoidal surface looks like molten plastic, and is an intense, deep robins-egg blue. For color and uniqueness, this represents one of the most unusual new finds of the past couple of years! This STRIKING, sculptural, specimen has vugs on all sides filled with beautiful chrysocolla! The "A" side is particularly cavernous, as the shadows in one photo highlight.
