Item Description
A lustrous, sharp, olive-green crystal of oldstyle chrysoberyl from this historic Brazilian gemstone locality, circa 1940s-1950s. This crystal is unusually 3-dimensional and robust in both thickness and depth, and masses 24 grams. Mounted vertically, it stands up dramatically and was in the Keith Williams miniatures collection. These are found more often on the market as 1-2 cm thumbnails, but this is larger and more robust than commonly seen, and should be valued over $1000 for these reasons.
