Item Description

Some of the most classic Chyrsoberyl specimens in the world are those from Espirito Santo in the southeastern end of Brazil. A lot of people are probably familiar with the "sixling" ("trilling") or even "heart"-shaped twins from this area, and this one is a great example of said material. This piece is an excellent, very sharp, lustrous, rather gemmy, golden colored, somewhat thick, "heart"-shaped twin of Chrysoberyl, free of matrix. The piece is not 100% damage free, as there are a couple of contacts, but it still displays well and looks wonderful when backlit. Specimen weight is 1.89 grams.
