This is a wonderful Chrysoberyl "cat's eye" gem stone that has a very fine, distinct "eye" and a wonderful color. This stone exhibits a fine yellow-bronze color depending on which angle the stone is viewed. The "eye" in the stone has a great "milk" appearance, creating that highly sought after "milk and honey" effect that is often seen in these gems. There is also a slight brownish flash on the perimeter of the stone as well. This stone is one of best and most attractive colorful "cat's eyes" that I've seen in this material. This material can command a retail price of $250 per carat in some instances.
