Chrysoberyl (Cat's Eye)

Item Description

This is a good Chrysoberyl "cat's eye" gem stone that has a beautiful green-yellow color with a "milky-blue" color "eye" when it is lit up with a penlight. The "eye" in the stone has a great "milk" appearance, creating that highly sought after "milk and honey" effect that is often seen in these gems. There is also a slight green flash on the perimeter of the stone as well. I want to point out that this stone is bright and does not look "dirty" like so many others can be. The best of this material can command a retail price of $250 per carat in some instances.
