Chrysoberyl (Cat's Eye)

This is a wonderful Chrysoberyl "cat's eye" gem stone that has a beautiful golden-yellow color with a "milky-blue" color "eye" when it is lit up with a penlight. The "eye" in the stone has a great "milk" appearance, creating that highly sought after "milk and honey" effect that is often seen in these gems. This stone is one of better and more attractive "cat's eyes" that I've offered in the auctions in this size for a while. I want to point out that this stone is bright and does not look "dirty" like so many others can be. This material can command a high retail price of $250 per carat in some instances.
