Item Description
A rather hard to find piece of Chromite (iron chromium oxide) from the Güleman Mines in Turkey. The piece hosts several rounded aggregates of semi-lustrous black Chromite sitting on pale yellow Serpentine matrix. It's without question the only piece we've ever had to offer from this locality in the auctions. Minerals from Turkey are fairly uncommon on the market, but these particular Chromites are downright unseen. A really cool locality specimen for any fan of rarities or rare localities.
