Item Description

This piece is from a fairly new find (2019) in Norway featuring INTENSELY colored, rich chrome green colored, foliated crystals of Fuchsite (a chromium-bearing Muscovite) sitting atop massive white Quartz matrix. The large patch of Fuchsite crystals have an almost metallic luster to them, and really look beautiful in good strong light. Honestly, the piece was not terribly easy to photograph, and the color is not as strong in the photos as it is in person. If you're a fan of Mica, Norwegian minerals or beautiful colors in the mineral world, don't miss out on this one as few were available.
