Chromian Clinochlore ("Kammererite")

A rare specimen of this well-known chromian variety of Clinochlore, but not from the famous Kop Krom Mine (the most famous locality for specimens), but the lesser known Pembe Gule Mine. This piece is an older specimen dating back to 1978. It came to us from an old East Coast collection, and were it not for the fact that it's actually LABELED as coming from the Pembe Gule Mine, I would have just left it as Kop Krom. A cool locality-specific specimen for anybody interested in the material. Small sparkling electric fuschia colored crystals cover the display side of the entire specimen.
