Chrome Tourmaline

This material is really unique and is some of the most beautiful Tourmaline I've seen. There have been crystals of this material on the market for a few years, but rarely are they clean enough to cut stones. The stone shows an imperial green color face up (with slight yellow flashes) and really sparkles in the light. The stone is virtually eye clean with a lovely "Round Brilliant" cut. The color is caused by the presence of chromium, a strong chromophore in the gem world. If you collect Tourmalines, these dazzling stones are a must-add to your collection.
