Item Description
Classic for this area of strange garnet combination specimens, this small cabinet Chromian Grossular on Diopside is quite attractive in its own merits as well for the unusual sparkle and contrast. The mm-size Chromian Grossular garnets have good luster and a vivid sugary green color. They rest on an elongated Diopside crystal, which is lustrous and looks very much like petrified wood. Unusual old material, from the Canadian subcollection of Dr. Art Soregaroli.
