Chrome Cerussite (ex Allen Heyl Collection)

Item Description

A classic specimen of the well known "Chrome" variety of Cerussite - from Dundas, Tasmaina. The label states that it is from Dundas, and I don't have a more specific locality. It features beautiful, bright greenish-yellow bladed crystals of chormian-rich Cerussite on contrasting gossan matrix. From the collection of Allen Heyl, a well-known geologist from Colorado and the namesake for the species Aheylite.
