Chondrodite on marble

Item Description

An excellent association specimen from the famous Sungate Mine featuring a decent sized, semi lustrous, deep golden orange crystal group of Chondrodite measuring 2.2 cm sitting atop massive white marble matrix. The piece displays beautifully, and the contrasting orange and white shades makes for a lovely combination. When backilt, the Chondrodite crystal shows an intense warm orange internal hue. One of the very few Chondrodites from Vietnam that I have offered, and certainly good sized for the species. Minor pink Spinel can be seen next to the Chondrodite group.
