Item Description
A few years ago, some very impressive red color chondrodites were found in Afghanistan in the same area where the famous Lapis Lazuli is mined. This piece features fairly sharp, well-formed, gemmy (when backlit), red color monoclinic crystals of Chondrodite measuring up to 8 mm from this contemporary discovery. Good matrix pieces like this are hard to find on the market. Valued at $600.
