Childrenite (ex Obodda)

Item Description

Well-formed, sharp, semi-lustrous, deep honey-brown colored crystals of Childrenite sit on a black prism of Schorl from a lesser known locality in Afghanistan. The largest Childrenite measures 8 mm. You don't see a lot of these crystals from Afghanistan, and it's a great piece to round out a suite of pegmatite minerals from this well known specimen producing country.
