Item Description
Exceptional cluster of the uncommon phosphate mineral, Childrenite, from high in the mountains of Afghanistan. One single, peach-colored, and translucent crystal of Childrenite would be a fine thumbnail in and of itself, but to have an actual cluster from the Parun pegmatites is quite the find. This was a significant pocket at the time with specimens to size figures, and some was brought to the internet market by John Veveaert back in the late 1990s (Dick Mushlitz bought this from John, back in the day), and the qualty is still the best, gram per gram, for the species.
