Item Description

A wonderful small cabinet sized specimen of the rare REE silicate Chevkinite-(Ce) from the finest discovery in the world for the species. This obscure Pakistan locality started producing these superb specimens in the late 1990s. This group hosts rather lustrous, sharp, euhedral, jet-black terminated crystals measuring up to 2.1 cm on massive Chevkinite-(Ce) matrix. There are some contacted crystals, so the piece is not perfect, but it's hard to find multi-crystal groups like this from Pakistan and you can snag this one for a great price and it would make a good addition to any rarities suite.
