Chatoyant velvet Malachite (Mullane Coll.)

Item Description

An old-time, excellent specimen from the famous Mina Ojuela. This showy, mounded piece consists nearly entirely of radial sprays of very chatoyant, velvety, acicular primary malachite crystals. Primary malachite in this form is very uncommon from this noted locale and this is a good one. Ex Mullane Collection and dates to the 1950s to 1970s.
