An excellent, old-time azurite on malachite specimen from the famous mines at Bisbee and the Dennis Mullane Collection. Sparkly, highly lustrous, chatoyant, azure-blue to navy blue, azurite blades cover the sculptural, undulating matrix of malachite.and sturdy gossan. There are even flashes of highly desirable "electric-blue" on this piece. Nearly pristine, a bit of modest periphery wear is noted, but is certainly not a detraction. Classic, old-time material from this historic district. Certainly around 100 years old, but no proof. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON.
