Chalcostibite (rare and fine)

A classic and hard to find full cabinet sized specimen of Chalcostibite, a rare copper antimony sulfosalt from the Boldut Mine in Romania, one of the premier localities for the species. This piece features beautiful, fine sharp, bladed crystals of metallic silvery-grey colored Chalcostibite forming "rose"-esque groups, sitting among prismatic Quartz crystals and with cream colored Dolomite. I'm told that this particular style of Chalcostibite is the variety known as Wolfsbergite. These are hard to find on the market, especially in this size and quality. The Chalcostibite crystals look fantastic under magnification, and the largest group of crystal measures about 1.1 cm across. No major damage that I can find, excellent for what it is. Valued $2,000.
