Chalcostibite is an uncommon sulfosalt and this sculptural, rich and excellent small cabinet features lustrous, metallic-bright, chalcostibite (visible on both bruised ends and on one side) that is covered by lustrous malachite pseudomorphs after sharp azurite blades. A bit of remnant azurite is still visible. A RARE accessory are the glassy, oxide-tinted, dolomite crystals. The uncommon locality is Rhar el Anz, Morocco. Seldom available on the market from this locality and rare in this combination quality. Comes with an Al McGuinness label. Valued at $300-350.
