Item Description

A beautiful sulfide association specimen featuring fine quality, brassy, metallic Chalcopyrite crystals measuring up to 2.3 cm across, which are associated with rather lustrous, jet-black, smooth, well-formed crystals of Sphalerite and highlighted by little colorless Quartz prisms from Pachapaqui. A few nicks can be seen, so the piece is not 100% pristine, but still very showy and good quality for the locality. Chalcopyrite specimens from Pachapaqui are honestly quite rare, and this is one ofthe better pieces we've had to offer in the auctions.
