A striking and aesthetic 360-degree combination from this famous mine. A 7.5 cm, doubly terminated, transparent with frosted faces quartz crystal is dramatically encased in the mounded sulfide matrix with numerous smaller quartz points. Golden chalcopyrites dominate the crest and are accented with clusters of metallic-gray tetrahedrite microcrystals and a few sphalerites. Complete all-around, nearly pristine. A cleaved sphalerite is noted on one side and is out-of-sight in the preferred display view. Choice, very fine combination material from the Cynthia Payne Collection.
