A fantastically sculptural and colorful large combination from the Boldut Mine at Cavnic. Brilliant golden-metallic chalcopyrite sphenoids are dramatically and preferentially peppered on the front of the artistic, 3-dimensional cluster of five large tapered quartz crystals. The glassy white quartz crystals have nifty stepped-growth faces and strongly resemble flower buds! This exceptional 360-degree combination is pristine. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock and valued by Herb at $400, more than 6 years ago. Specimens of this size and combination quality are uncommon. It is worth more today.
