Item Description

The Huaron mines are world famous for outstanding Chalcopyrite and Quartz specimens, and this combination piece is flat out gorgeous. The bright, complex, iridescent, and brassy Chalcopyrites range up to 1.9 cm, and they rest beautifully on, or scattered among, a dense forest of water-clear and glassy Quartz crystals. There are even some sharp, complex Pyrite crystals tucked among the Quartz that add more to the visual and mineral interest. A classic combination with super aesthetics, specimens like this came out decades ago.
