Item Description
This is a wonderful cabinet display specimen of Chalcopyrite on Galena with minor Quartz from the famous Madan region in Bulgaria. This piece hosts a predominant, 2.0 cm tetragonal crystal of golden Chalcopyrite with multiple crystals of Chalcopyrite on Galena with minor Quartz. The main crystal shows minor damage, and sulfidesare notoriously difficult to photograph, but the piece does look better in person. The specimen comes with a handful of labels including Wouter Van Tichelen and Dr. Ed David.
