Item Description

An impressive, large mounded sulfide specimen from Madan. The isolated, very sharp, well-striated, golden iridescent, chalcopyrite sphenoids to 3.5 cm are the dramatic highlight of this excellent piece along with the 2.5 cm galena cube with striking skeletal features. The intergrown cluster of skeletal galena crystals on one edge adds pizzazz to the matrix of highly lustrous, jet-black, twinned, sphalerite crystals. The broken base hosts much pyrite. Very fine and showy combination material from this noted locale.
